Neymar was stretchered off the field with an apparent ankle injury. Best case scenario is an ankle sprain. If it is a low type would be week-to-week and 1 to 2 weeks return to play. If it is a high ankle sprain could be 4 to 6 weeks return to play. Worst case scenario is a break of the fibula. If it is a non-surgical type could be out for weeks. If it is shifted or involves the joint and requires surgery, he could be out close to 3 to 5 months. Watch the injury below:

Columbia’s James Rodriguez exits with injury
James Rodriguez departed Colombia’s World Cup game against Senegal through injury. It appears to be a re-aggravation of his calf injury. He may be able to return, but between fatigue and dehydration, don’t expect him to be his usual self.
