Santi Cazorla will miss at least another 5 months after undergoing another surgery on his achilles which was infected in both the soft tissues and in the bone. He also had wound complications which does not bode well for his ability to return to play. The most recent surgery sounds to be a graft surgery. It is unclear whether it is graft from his own ankle or from a cadaver. In either case, the return to play is usually 9 to 12 months if not longer. Many times with multiple surgeries like this and a bad infection, RTP can be in jeopardy.
