Boston Celtics forward Daniel Theis to undergo season-ending surgery for torn meniscus in knee. Symptoms must have been so severe that rehab & minor arthroscopy would have not been enough, which makes me think it was a buckle-handle or causing the knee to feel unstable. He should be good to go for 2018 season after some good rehab.
