Blue Jays placed Kevin Pillar on the 10-day disabled list with a right SC joint sprain. Pillar got very lucky with this injury, as a fracture of the distal clavicle could have potentially been life-threatening. The good news is that he did not fracture the clavicle, instead damaging the ligaments that attach the clavicle to the sternum. This can be a painful injury with limited treatment options. Rest, rehab, and NSAIDs are main treatment options. RTP 4-6 weeks.
