Brewers’ Eric Thames tears UCL in thumb-Dr. Morse

Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Eric Thames has been placed on the DL with a torn UCL in his left thumb. This injury has been known to sap a hitter of power. He will likely require surgery and miss 6-8 weeks.
